5th Grade Volunteers

Fifth grade students, who have earned five Character Count Points, are eligible to work in the Library Learning Center. They learn how to check books in and out, shelve, and assist others in finding materials. This is a great experience which enables students to learn about the many aspects of a library.

Parent Volunteers

Our Library Learning Center is very fortunate to have the help of parent volunteers. Volunteers help us provide a stronger library program for Madison students. Volunteering in the LLC will also allow you to learn more about your child's school experience and give you an opportunity to observe classes in action. Some of the LLC volunteering activities include shelving, checking materials in and out, preparing displays and bulletin boards, and assisting students and faculty. Parents volunteer half days, once a week, once or twice a month. If you are interested, please call the Library Volunteer Coordination, Lisa Beckwith or contact Mrs. Graham.
