  • Students will be able to complete 20-37 addition/subtraction facts in a period of one minute.

  • Differentiate reading instruction through leveled reading groups.
  • Students will be able to complete between 27-40 addition/subtraction facts in a period of one minute to receive a “4” on the rubric.

  • Writing extended response essays across the curriculum.
  • An emphasis on differentiated materials and instruction based on state standards.
  • Students will be able to complete 40 out of 50 math facts in a period of two minutes in each of the four operations.

  • Provide direct instruction of root words and affixes for vocabulary.
  • Students will show 80% accuracy in a one minute multiplication and one minute division timed test
